Vodka, lime, ginger beer. Copper if you have it.
A double of this one doubles the spirit. Mixer still fills. Open Double to see the pour.
The pour
One drink. Copper mug · 16 oz. Ice: cubes.
Vodka
2 oz
Lime juice
½ oz
Ginger beer
to fill
How
- Fill the mug with ice. Vodka and lime in.
- Top with cold ginger beer. Stir once, gently — don't kill the fizz.
Garnish
Lime wheel. Optional mint.
Tips
- Ginger beer, not ginger ale. The spice is the drink.
- Citrus vodka works. Vanilla does not.
The double
Double the vodka. Ginger beer still fills. Same half-ounce of lime unless you want it sharper.
Highball rule: double the spirit, mixer fills, citrus stays unless they asked for sharper.
